**For Intermediate to advanced riders who already have experience touring and riding in the backcountry. Who are looking to deepen their knowledge and skills on/off piste, along with gaining avalanche awareness and explore the best powder southern Japan has to offer.

SAFETY is our number one priority. As a part of our tour, we have on board professional qualified guide’s to ensure the safety, as well as this, we require our guest’s to be geared up in order to keep them safe in the mountain’s.
Backcountry gear required:
Touring back pack (to hold your safety gear)
Transceiver
Touring poles
Shovel
Spare gloves
Probe
Any extra gear you usually use in the backcountry is welcomed
Snow shoes or ski/ split board and skins
Head torch
Hat
Sunglasses
If you do not have any of these item’s, fear not! Please let us know in advance and we can arrange rental or point you in the direction of the best place to buy.
All guests are required to provide travel insurance (snow sports cover included) policies once bookings are confirmed to make sure you are covered for your time on tour.
THE GREENHOUSE MYOKO
Accommodation for the tour will be at our private lodge In Suginosawa, Myoko.
Within walking distance to the romance chair at Suginohara, The Greenhouse will be your home for your 7 nights with us in Myoko, The Greenhouse is a homely, newly renovated Japanese Ryokan with western comforts in the heart of Suginohara, all rooms are twin share (Private room options available while space allows as a optional add on )with plenty of room for you and our other guests to Relax after your days chasing powder in the Japanese alps.
*if occupancy of the tour is under 4 people buy the tour date the accommodation will be changed to Akakura park hotel a Onsen hotel in the heart of Akakura for a better guest experience .
